I wish that the UK retailer's worked the same as those in the USA -- you guys are allowed to barter!!
It was my birthday in June and the only thing that I said I would like was a diamond tennis bracelet. Chum looked online and as with everything it was cheaper in the States so I told him I was happy to wait untill our Vegas trip for my B'day pressie.
Away we go in search of the bracelet and we found 4 jeweller's in the crossroads of a Mall. The 1st jeweller's we go into has one that I really reallyyyyy like, but forever the bargain hunter I want to see what the other 3 jeweller's are offering especially as they are literally footsteps away from each other!
So we go and have a look in the other 3.. but none of them can match the price or have a style I like for a similar bracelet. Everyone of them brought the price down tho so by the time we entered the 3rd esablishment we knew to barter and they happily did that.
We eventually bought the 1st bracelet that I had seen that I liked so much... not just because it was the best price wise.. but also because it was the only one I truely loved from 1st sight.
