I thought I would share my Vegas story with you all..

My other/better half (Chumley) won a $13.500 package so we were lucky enough to get a trip to Vegas for the 2nd year running. The package that he won included breakfast with the great Doyle Brunson http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h14/totty1/Emots/hail.gif

Ok.. the plane leave's England late.. which means we miss our connecting flight in New York, so after almost 24 hours travelling we arrive in Vegas shattered and having to try and find the villa we have rented in the dark. We eventually find it and do no more than crawl into bed at 3 am leaving the unpacking untill we wake up.

Last year we stayed at the Luxor, but this year I wanted my 'own home'

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was fantastic.. 111 degrees and NO rain - as different from the UK as it could get lol

While we were there we met up with lots of people that we have met through the online poker community and every single one of them were lovely!

My other half played event#48 going out after 10 hours.. he was average stack when they broke for dinner but was totally card dead when they started again.

We both played event# 52 where he got busted before the 1st break and I managed to last a short 3 hours .. 66 in the BB (low stack) raised by the guy just before the dealer button to put me all in if I called.. which with my stack i decided to call.. he has K 10 and hit a 10 on the flop and it was thanks but goodnight lol :D

I can now say I have played in the WSOP..

Wow great pics tots!! The villa looks amazing! I had a great time in Vegas also, I cant wait to go back.

Looks like you gals had an awesome time!!!! I have been there more times than I can count on my fingers & toes but didnt make it this year, but will next and cant wait to party hardy with you gals!!! I know LV like the back on my hand, I always stay at Harrahs or Rio but looks like I need to shack with Totty (lol) Planning a trip later this year with hubby we always go on New Years Eve and party in the streets like super stars (BLAST) let me tell ya!! The night clubs are a Blast also..

I won a seat into the 2006 WSOP Ladies Event. I made it past the first break but went card dead and was out shortly after the break. :( It was my very first time playing a live event (other then home games). I had the opportunity to meet a ton of pros because the Omaha game was going on. Here is my collection of photos......

I will be going back to Vegas in '09 for the WSOP smaller events, but not sure which ones yet. No trip this year though. :(
