Our cats:

Wallie in June

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/SharBear613/TrixieAndWallie/Wallie1.jpg

I have to tell you the story about Wallie. He survived underneath the hood of a car while a guy drove about 30 minutes. He stopped at a Wal-Mart (hense the name Wallie) and heard a meowing noise coming from his car. He opened the hood and there was Wallie curled up in the engine compartment! He couldn't keep him, so a lady that is the mother of someone my mom works with took him him. They had too many animals, so my mom thought it would be a good companion for our other cat. He weighed all of 1.3lbs when he arrived. We took him to the vet and he had thousands of mites and worms. Vet guessed him at about 6 weeks old when we took him in. He was also fighting a upper respitory infection. The poor thing never would have made it as a stray. Well I am happy to report he is healthy and growing fast. Here he is today...

Our other cat Trixie (who we got from the Humane Society)

Trixie & Wallie together. Trixie has really taken on the mother roll to Wallie. It is amazing to watch her clean him and play with him. Then when they curl up together it just makes you go awwwwwww.

Great pics there Sharbear.

Your daughter is really pretty .. another one to keep an eye on when the boys start taking too much interest ;)

I want that kitten.. he's soooooooo cute!! It's when I see picture's like that I have to sighhh and wish I wasn't allergic to them. I'd definately be a cat owner if my allergies didn't rule it out.

Thanks for sharing them with us :)

Thank you ladies. It is amazing because my daughter is identicle to my sister. You would think she delivered her. lol They both have the blonde hair and blue eyes. She just asked me what pictures I posted on here and she said "Oh my god, did you have to post the wrose pictures of me?" lol She is a gem. hehe

My daughter has allergies really bad and has often had problems with a lot of cats. We decided to give Trixie a try when we saw her at the Humane Society. Then we brough in Wallie. She has not had allergy issue with either one. It is kind of amazing. I guess the dander on both of them are not bad enough to bother her. Guess we were lucky and it was meant to be. :D
